Discover the region

Our guest house and our lodgings are located at the foot of the village of Venasque. A few minutes by car, we meet you in the heart of the village. You will discover restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries that showcase the good and beautiful products of the region. We invite you to taste the specialty of Venasque, the cherry. Stroll through the alleys of the city center to meet craftsmen and monuments: the towers, the church and the baptistery. From June to September, a market is held in the center of the village from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Monts de Vaucluse

The Monts de Vaucluse are a mountain range in the Southern Pre-Alps, straddling the department of Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The main peaks of this massif are: Mont Ventoux, Signal de Lure, Sommet de l'Homme, Montagne d'Albion and Signal Saint-Pierre. Fans of hiking, car rides, motorbike outings or cycle tourism will be in paradise. Many routes pass very close to our establishment and will allow you to reach the most beautiful points of view of the region.

Gordes

In less than 20 minutes by car, you will be in the village of Gordes. In the heart of the Luberon, discover one of the most beautiful villages in France. The Château de Gordes has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1931. Major summer exhibitions are now hosted in this monument. Stroll through the alleys of the center of the village to discover all its treasures.

Roussillon

The village of Roussillon is renowned for its famous “Ocher de Roussillon”. Take one of the two trails and discover these ancient ocher quarries. Your walk will be dotted with information panels on the history of the place, the lush vegetation and the geological peculiarity of the soil.

Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Discover the capital of flea markets and antiques. Take a stroll through one of the antique villages of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and find a decorative object or a souvenir of your stay in the region. Stroll through the alleys of the city center or take a seat by the water for a moment of calm.

Vaucluse fountain

This village, nestled in the heart of the Mont de Vaucluse, will seduce you and surprise you with its astonishing abyss. At your own pace, stroll through the alleys of the center of the village to discover the shops of local craftsmen, remains and monuments. Stop off at the Santons Ecomuseum for an atypical visit.

Col de Murs

The Col de Murs is one of the passes of the Monts de Vaucluse which separates the valleys of Nesque and Imergue. It is a paradise for lovers of hiking, cycling, car or motorbike. From the summit, at 626 meters, you will get superb views of the surroundings.

Gorges of the Nesque

For a walk in the heart of nature, go to the Gorges de la Nesque. This spectacular and wild canyon is pierced by multiple caves, to explore. The Gorges de la Nesque stretch from Monieux to Méthamis and offer superb hikes accessible to the whole family.
